Autotalent vs Auto-Tune Comments

- Autotalent is Free and Open Source
Auto-Tune is not available for Linux but there are a few alternatives that runs on Linux with similar functionality. The best Linux alternative is Autotalent, which is both free and Open Source. If that doesn't suit you, our users have ranked more than 10 alternatives to Auto-Tune and four of them are available for Linux so hopefully you can find a suitable replacement. Other interesting Linux alternatives to Auto-Tune are TalentedHack, GSnap and x42-Autotune.

A Pitch Correction LV2 plugin derived from Autotalent This plugin should work basically the same as Autotalent except:
It is an LV2 plugin instead of an LADSPA plugin It provides MIDI output of the pitch It accepts MIDI input It separates the pull to semitone and.

With GSnap you can get an auto-tune effect. It can be used subtly to correct the pitch of a vocal, or, with more extreme settings, to create a robot-voice effect. It requires a monophonic input signal to operate.

x42-autotune (aka fat1.lv2) is an auto-tuner based on Fons Adriaensen's zita-at1.
It may not have a fancy GUI, but it works inside Audacity (at least on linux) and does allow for pulling toward, away from, or to just ignore the state of each note in the scale.
