What is AUTHENTiC - The Checksum Calculator?
In this day and age, validating the authenticity of your downloads is more important than ever. The best way of doing that is through the, publicly posted, checksum of the original file. I wrote AUTHENTiC because I was unhappy with the fre checksum calculators that I could find online. I've tried to implement everything those other applications didn't have and, now, it's the only tool I use for checksums.
The current version (v1.00) supports 15 different types of checksums, including some quite exotic ones which you'll hardly ever encounter 'in the wild'. Namely, AUTHENTiC calculates hashes for: MD5, SHA1, Adler-32, Blake2b, Blake2s, CRC32, RIPEMD-160, SHA-224, SHA-256, SHA-384, SHA-512, SHA3-224, SHA3-256, SHA3-384 and SHA3-512.
If you need to calculate hashes for an algorithm which is not included, please contact me and I'll try to include it in future versions.
ATTENTION: v1.0.1. contains a crucial bug-fix which prevented the previous version from working when installed!

Simple to use and gets the job done. Strangely enough, it's the only checksum tool that supports modern (as in not obsolete and insecure) checksum types.
