Aternos is not a 24/7 host. Your server is only running as long as you need it and play on it. When you leave your server, it will be stopped automatically. But your server is saved and you can start it whenever you want to.

I like aternos because I LOVE IT
I tried aternos because I used it a few years ago but then I found PloudOS and its way better
Aternos is good, but the issues is that the queue is long, and its very LAGGY. I understand that they need a queue due to their limited resources, and that is why Aternos is unreliable, its completely free. Because it is completely free, they cant make much money. If you can compare Aternos with other free hosts, Most of them are better than Aternos. The reason? They aren't exactly free, they are rather freemium. Because they are freemium, they can provide better hardware to both paid and free servers. Aternos can fix this by attracting more advertisers, which will cause more web lag but provide more money, or it can become a freemium, which is best as it will dish out cash while providing better servers and performance.
Free :) supporting some modpacks, forge, spigot, craftbukkit, pocketmine and bedrock edition soo almost support everything.
