Fairly simple way to combine videos or to continue recording a video later. This filled a good niche for me because I like recording a video throughout the day for example, but the iPhone camera only lets you pause a video (and restart recording) until the camera app closes. Clips let you record clips throughout any period of time and automatically combine them later. Of course it also had many other features but I never used those. Sad to see it discontinued now.

So easy to make your own short video clips, add some colorful captions here and there, then you have something for your family or friends to watch.
Great app, but the fact it only films squares in non-native resolution is a dealbreaker. Please allow different aspect ratios, and record at the native quality.
