What is AnyPortrait?
AnyPortrait is a Unity asset for developing 2D character animations. It lets you create and modify animations within Unity, eliminating the need for importing and converting external files. This makes the animation process more efficient.
The software includes advanced features for character expression, such as controlling facial expressions, posture, and image transformations. This is done through a system of "Control Parameters" and "Modifiers", allowing detailed customization of character expressions. It also includes skeletal animation for games, using a C# script to control character movements during gameplay.
AnyPortrait also includes a "Jiggle Bones" feature for creating physics effects. Developers can set dynamic physics bones that respond to the character's actions, adding realism to the animation. This feature simplifies the application and adjustment of physics effects, improving the visual impact of the character animations.
