What is Anvil.works?
Anvil enables you to build full-stack web apps with nothing but Python, with a visual UI builder. It's got all the speed of drag-and-drop, and all the power of the Python ecosystem. Write Python that runs in the web browser, and Python that runs on the server, and deploy it on the Internet with one click - or export your app and host it locally with the open-source App Server. In head-to-head tests, Anvil is 7 times faster than traditional tools.

Anvil recently open sourced a good portion of their software, it's now possible to host your own Anvil apps. I'm taking another look at their offering. Impressed thus far.
Pricing starts at $49/mo, free trial available. Bit expensive for hobby projects, imho.
Hi David. Just wanted to clarify that the free tier does not have a time limit. The main differences with the paid plan are: PyPy instead of C-Python in the back end, and a banner at the top of your apps saying 'made with Anvil'. Note: I work for Anvil.
