Memrise used to be an efficient SRS for self-created flashcard decks, now it's mostly worthless unless you pay a monthly fee, which a popup prompts you to do every 3 minutes or so.

Memrise includes native speaker video clips, which Anki doesn't have out of the box. Good for learners who care about pronunciation and natural pace, not just word recognition.

It's way better than Anki. Simpler and more intuitive interface and way more efficient in creating cards from notes. IMO, it fully replaces Anki.

Cross device syncing is paid option and all your file store locally. Otherwise it is good UI and good flashcard app.

Anki uses a simplified version of SuperMemo's algorithm. SuperMemo itself has more advanced scheduling and incremental reading built in — worth checking out if you've outgrown Anki's basics.
