What is AndStatus?
AndStatus is an Open Source low traffic social networking client with tree-like threaded conversations. It supports different Social networks, including GNU social (StatusNet, e.g. Quitter.se, LoadAverage, etc.), and Pump.io (previously also Twitter). AndStatus can combine your feeds from all networks into one Timeline, and it allows you to read and post even when you are offline.
Comments and Reviews
Most of the supported Social networks are no longer maintained or small.
It still supports Mastodon but I would recommend using an App with supporting also other Networks and Services.
So 2024-10 it is no alternate to any other App.
