Katamari Damacy information
What is Katamari Damacy?
Katamari Damacy, a Japanese video game from Bandai Namco Entertainment, features a character called The Prince. His task is to help his father, the King of All Cosmos, rebuild stars and planets using a katamari, a ball that picks up objects it rolls over. The game was launched in 2004 for PlayStation 2.
In the game, players guide their katamari into a cosmic sphere, collecting various objects, working with royal cousins to restore the galaxy, and helping the King regain the Queen's affection. The game also includes a mission to save the universe from disaster.
Katamari Damacy allows players to roll and expand the katamari by collecting items ranging from small trinkets to large objects. Players can find scattered items on Earth to complete the "Collection" and locate "Royal Presents" to unlock badges and costumes. Hidden "Cousins" can be found, allowing players to play as their preferred characters. The gameplay involves rolling the katamari to collect items, meeting the King's goals, and turning the katamari into a star that lights up the night sky.
