What is ActionTiles?
ActionTiles is a web based control panel (dashboard) creator for SmartThings™. Users sign-up for an Account (with email / password not related to their SmartThings login) and connect this to one or more SmartThings Locations and its Things. Users can then build any number of Panels with any combination of Thing Tiles, and a few special Tiles like media connections (direct video streams or snapshots), clocks, and web shortcuts. Panels can be securely shared and unshared with other ActionTiles users, which is a good way to offer controlled limited permission to family members or friends. ActionTiles only offers view of and commands to Things; it does not include other administrative functions of SmartThings's own mobile App such as adding new Thing or installation and configuration of SmartApps.

This is great for a wall-mounted tablet for home automation and security. They often have discount codes posted on their website home page. I use this on a FireHD tablet with FullyKiosk browser for an always-on smart home control panel.
