What is ABC-Update?
ABC-Update let you control when and how Windows Updates are delivered to computers on your network. Pick clients from Windows AD, select update action and schedule against all selected machines
Allow you to choose MS Update or WSUS. You can install or list missing updates, control reboots options, and even exit actions including nothing, sleep, reboot, hibernate or shutdown. Update Selection lets you decide to download some or all categories including critical, service packs, definition updates, and more. You can even select whether to download only drivers or software.
Finally, what administrator wouldn't want a way to log the action? You can save a log file anywhere you like or email yourself as needed.
ABC-Update is freeware also free for commersial use. It also comes with a GUI or command-line version. A user guide is included and available online.
