What is 232key?

Transforms data received via RS-232 into keystrokes. Make your serial device talk to any program!

232key captures numeric values sent from a serial device (e.g. a barcode reader or a measurement instrument like a scale or balance) and automatically enters them into any program running on your computer as simulated keystrokes.

The program is free without any usage or time limitations except for a few recently added functions which require a paid license.
