What is 1964?

1964 is a Nintendo 64 emulator for Microsoft Windows, written in C and released as free software. It is one of the oldest and most popular N64 emulators, supporting many commercial N64 games. With the right plugins, you can play almost any Nintendo64 game on your PC.

The name consists of "19" (as in 1996, the year the Nintendo 64 was released) and "64" (as in Nintendo 64).
