What is 12quiz?

12quiz is a live quiz platform where AI generates quizzes from any topic in about 30 seconds. Type "90s pop culture", paste a Wikipedia URL, or upload a PDF — and you have a ready-to-play quiz with multiple-choice answers and adjustable difficulty. You can also create your own question from scratch by manually entering questions and answers.

Features include live leaderboards, confetti animations, podium finishes, QR code joining, image questions, custom time limits, and Surprise Mode (where the quiz host plays blind alongside guests).

Unlike subscription-based quiz tools, 12quiz uses a pay-per-session model: $1 for up to 10 players, $2 for up to 20, scaling to almost unlimited players. Free to sign up and create unlimited quizzes — you only pay when you launch a live session.

Players don't need to download an app or create an account. They open any mobile browser, enter a 6-digit code, pick a nickname, and play.
