Typora 1.13 brings MathJax 4, Mermaid 11.12, improved search performance, and UI updates

Typora 1.13 has been released as the latest update to this cross-platform minimal Markdown editor. This release brings an upgraded mathematical notation engine, adopting MathJax version 4. Users benefit from default line break support and expanded access to new TeX packages and commands, which will be useful for technical and academic writing.

Following the math enhancements, Typora now includes Mermaid version 11.12. This change enhances diagram workflows by correcting document link addresses and improving sub-element rendering. Adopting these new library versions makes Typora more capable for users working with complex content.

Building on the editing experience, Markdown setting changes now take effect without restarting Typora. A tooltip and dedicated button let users reload the window and apply adjustments immediately. Search performance has also been improved, offering faster content location within documents. While these core improvements streamline usability, the user interface receives attention as well. Updates include a refined source code mode button on macOS and improved sidebar resizing for smoother navigation.

For macOS 26.2 users, all PDF export features are now available due to enhancements in export logic. Additionally, the default privacy stance shifts with the “Send anonymous info” setting now disabled by default for new installations. Rounding out this release, Typora 1.13 delivers several bug fixes, increasing overall stability and ease of use.
