Linkwarden 2.14 adds improved team collaboration, tag pagination, and faster & enhanced UI

Bookmark manager Linkwarden 2.14 introduces key updates aimed at improving organization and collaboration. Collection and subcollection workflows now support permission propagation for members, allowing admins to establish subcollections with inherited access rules for more consistent management.

Following these collaborative enhancements, the update brings pagination to tags. Users working with extensive tag lists will find browsing faster and more manageable, especially within the sidebar and tags page. Building on performance, optimistic rendering has been added in slower areas such as links and collections, giving users more immediate UI feedback when editing or deleting items.

On the technology side, Linkwarden now runs on Next.js 15 for the web application and Expo 54 on mobile, updating its technical base for improved stability and broader platform support. These foundation upgrades are complemented by user experience refinements including a more helpful search and an easier-to-navigate settings menu.

Server-side validation for submitted links has also been improved. This provides safer and more reliable processing during link submissions. In addition to these headline changes, the release includes smaller interface cleanups, dependency updates, and general maintenance improvements throughout the app.
