IPFire 2.29 Core Update 200 launches with Linux kernel 6.18 LTS, providing improved network throughput, enhanced packet filtering, and the latest hardware security updates. This release debuts a preview of IPFire DBL, the new domain blocklist system usable in URL filtering and Suricata deep packet inspection. Suricata intrusion prevention now automatically cleans unused signatures, and reporting features have been expanded for better alert context.
