Blocs 6.4 for Mac enhances carousels, forms, copy & paste, link icons, and preview mode

Blocs 6.4 for Mac arrives with more than 60 new features aimed at streamlining website creation for users seeking flexible layouts and greater content control. The update introduces 10 new transition styles, 6 indicator shapes, and 4 navigation control designs, complemented by a new carousel progress bar offering 8 style choices. Alongside these visual enhancements, users can now build sites with text carousels thanks to two dedicated text carousel bricks.

With this release, form functionality expands to include options like honeypot fields, security tokens, and input timers, supporting both TLS and SMTPS protocols for Simple Mail Transfer Protocol servers. Additionally, forms now accept file attachments through file select inputs, and spam protection measures are improved across the board.

Workflow gains come from enhanced copy and paste: users can copy media files in Finder and paste them directly onto Blocs’ design canvas, or instantly embed YouTube and Vimeo videos by pasting their URLs. Moreover, a new paste and replace shortcut allows for quick content updates. Following the interface updates, icons can now be added to text links in navigation menus, tabs, and accordions, with automatic color matching.

This release also includes a QR code sharing tool for previewing sites on real devices, plus support for disabling lazy loading on individual images, strike through text formatting, social thumbnail defaults, and a range of other minor enhancements and bug fixes.
