Tuta introduces schedule send feature to Tuta Mail & event invite updates to Tuta Calendar
Tuta has introduced a schedule send feature to its mail service, allowing users to choose exactly when their emails are delivered. With this update, Tuta Mail users can reply and schedule emails to be sent at times that suit their preferences, enhancing user control over communication timing.
Following these mail improvements, Tuta Calendar now makes it easier to manage event invitations. When a user receives an invitation but has not yet accepted or declined, the event appears on the calendar with a faint appearance and a dotted outline, labeled as a ghost bubble. This visual distinction helps users differentiate between pending and confirmed calendar events.
These feature updates follow just six days after Tuta released official Thunderbird add-ons for both Tuta Mail and Tuta Calendar, highlighting a period of rapid development. Looking ahead, Tuta has announced ongoing work on an undo send function and improvements to spam filtering. The upcoming changes aim to further reduce unwanted email and ensure legitimate messages reach users’ inboxes.
