Tower 11 for Windows brings commit templates, ARM-native support, and other improvements

Git client Tower 11 for Windows has been released, focusing on user workflows by introducing commit templates. Users can now manage templates within the new “Templates” tab in preferences, selecting a global default for all repositories or assigning a unique template to specific repositories using their settings. When working in the commit composer, a new “Commit template” button offers quick access to all saved templates for efficient message creation.

Alongside these workflow upgrades, Tower 11 is now available as an ARM-native application. This ensures users on Windows ARM devices gain better speed and energy efficiency without manual intervention. Upon updating to version 11, the ARM-native version is delivered automatically for supported devices.

These main features are complemented by several refinements. The release adds enhanced branch naming options, support for Git version 2.52, synced repository paths in bookmarks, improved handling of license expiration dates, and more robust GPG configuration management. Various bug fixes have also been incorporated, contributing to a smoother user experience.

Ugh, too bad I am using an Intel PC, I've heard ARM is getting so fast and cheap!
