CrossOver 26 released with Wine 11, NTSync on Linux, and support for many new games on Mac
CrossOver 26 is now available, offering a refreshed way to run Windows applications on both Mac and Linux without the need for a conventional Windows emulator. The most notable change in this release is the upgrade to Wine 11.0, which introduces over 6,000 changes aimed at improving performance and compatibility across a wide variety of applications.
Alongside Wine 11.0, this version incorporates major core updates such as D3DMetal 3.0 for graphics, DXMT v0.72, Wine Mono 10.4.1, and vkd3d 1.18. These enhance support for advanced graphics and application frameworks, particularly benefiting users working with newer software and games.
For Mac enthusiasts, CrossOver 26 brings support for many additional Windows game titles. Users can now play HELLDIVERS 2, God of War Ragnarök, Starfield, Borderlands 4, Silent Hill f, and Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, among numerous others, directly on their systems. This release also includes interface refinements for macOS Tahoe and resolves an issue with Steam unexpectedly reopening after being closed.
On the Linux front, this update adds NTSync support for kernels that permit it. This enables certain Windows synchronization primitives, improving compatibility for select applications.

Looking good I'll try this once I get some good games with small memory and space requirements and go from there!
