DuckDB 1.4.0 LTS includes file encryption, MERGE support, and Iceberg writes

DuckDB 1.4.0 Long Term Support (LTS) Edition, codenamed “Andium”, introduces encryption for database files, offering enhanced data security. This release also adds support for MERGE INTO statements, enabling more flexible upsert operations. Additionally, the duckdb-iceberg extension now allows writing data to Iceberg tables.
