Telegram brings Global search for public posts, Story Albums and Gift Collections

Telegram has launched a major update, introducing a global search for public posts, lets users group stories into albums, and adds new tools for developers.

A key feature is the new 'Posts' tab in search, allowing users to find relevant results from all public channels in one interface. This powerful function is initially available exclusively to Telegram Premium subscribers.

Content organization gets a boost with Story Albums, letting profiles and channels create highlight reels of their best adventures or group content into playlists. Similarly, digital gifts can be sorted into custom collections.

For developers, a new @BotFather mini app simplifies bot management. The update also adds a profile rating based on Telegram Stars transactions and introduces limited-edition gifts exclusive to Premium users, solidifying the platform's feature set.
