Webflow introduces real-time collaboration in beta, with broader rollout later this year

Visual website builder Webflow has launched a private beta of real-time collaboration, allowing multiple team members to work together on the same website pages simultaneously. This update means design teams can build, edit, and update content in parallel, streamlining workflows and reducing project turnaround times.

Following this launch, Webflow has confirmed that real-time collaboration will be rolled out to all plan tiers later in 2025. This feature is set to be included at no additional cost, opening up parallel editing capabilities to the entire user base after the beta period ends.

For organizations using the Webflow Enterprise plan, additional workflow and quality control tools are available alongside collaborative editing. These include page branching for version management, design approval workflows for oversight, custom roles with detailed permission settings, comprehensive site activity logs, and publishing workflows. Teams with advanced governance needs can use these features to maintain oversight and accelerate their launch processes.
