Gmail is rolling out a new feature to manage your subscriptions and declutter your inbox

Gmail has just released a new “Manage subscriptions” feature designed to simplify handling subscription emails. This update allows users to see and manage all of their active email subscriptions within a single dedicated view. With this feature, Gmail organizes subscriptions by the most frequent sender and displays the number of emails each has sent in recent weeks.

Clicking on any listed sender gives immediate access to all messages received from that source. Gmail also introduces a one-click unsubscribe option, which sends a removal request directly to the sender on behalf of the user, making the process of opting out much more efficient.

The “Manage subscriptions” capability is currently rolling out on Gmail's web interface, as well as the Android and iOS apps. However, availability is limited to select countries during the initial launch phase. This feature aims to address common user frustrations with unsubscribing and subscription overload by streamlining the entire process into a centralized and accessible dashboard.

They're launching a feature that Proton Mail launched recently. +1 for Proton Mail :]

Lol. The feature has existed for years in multiple ways.

AFAIK, not exactly. Gmail had only buttons when you interact right into the subject of an e-mail. Proton Mail developed a panel with all subscribed e-mails. It's similar, but imho Proton Mail offers more.
