Bluesky introduces age verification and content controls for UK users
Bluesky is implementing age verification for UK users using Epic Games' Kids Web Services to comply with the Online Safety Act. Users can verify their age with payment cards, ID scans, or face scans. Those under 18 or who do not complete verification will be restricted from accessing adult content and direct messaging.
UK users will also receive notifications and can report unwanted content when the update goes live.
