Ente Photos 1.1 brings daily memories, expanded widgets, and enhanced sharing options
Ente Photos version 1.1 introduces daily memory notifications, offering users reminders of photos from previous years every morning. These notifications can be turned off in the app’s settings, allowing control over memory prompts. Alongside this, the home screen widgets have been enhanced and now support three categories: people, albums, and memories, enabling users to personalize their display and quickly access favorite content.
Following these interface improvements, video streaming is now accessible on all platforms. Users can initiate the creation of video streams directly from the desktop app, expanding options for viewing and sharing video content.
For those sharing and managing media, this release streamlines interactions. Users can now share photos by tapping the 💚 icon, sending images instantly to a contact’s timeline. In the Shared tab, each contact’s timeline displays albums and photos they have shared with you. Additionally, album management gains efficiency with the addition of bulk actions such as share, pin, archive, and hide, supporting faster organization in larger libraries.
