Blocs 6.2 for Mac adds stacked containers, enhanced preview mode, and FTP manager updates
Blocs 6.2 for Mac delivers several enhancements for web designers. The introduction of stacked containers offers a new way to create layered content effects by letting users group items within div blocks and instantly apply overlapping layouts. While layout tools see major changes, the FTP manager also receives upgrades. Users can now set favorite publishing destinations per project, duplicate existing server locations to quickly adjust paths, and reorder their server list with a simple drag-and-drop action.
Following these workflow improvements, the preview mode has been expanded. Designers can now preview any website, not just the projects they're currently building. The tool also flags slow-loading pages and introduces a hover-based preview thumbnail, which appears when holding the pointer over any link on the preview canvas.
Additionally, Blocs now lets users jump directly to elements using a specific CSS class. This reduces time spent searching for styled components across large designs. Several smaller refinements are also included, such as more asset ordering options, web notifications in custom interactions, improved window handling on dual monitors, and the flexibility to add custom classes to menu items.
