Instagram now allows users to upload photos in the 3:4 aspect ratio, matching the default setting on most smartphone cameras. The feature supports both single-photo uploads and carousels, displaying images as originally shot without cropping. Users can still choose square or 4:5 aspect ratios for their posts if preferred.
