Inoreader adds file upload feature for Pro users with searchable PDF parsing

Inoreader has introduced a new file upload feature for Pro users, letting them add personal documents and have these files converted into articles within their library. Building on Inoreader’s core functionality as a web-based RSS reader, this update expands user workflows beyond feeds.

With the new upload tool, users can add files in PDF, DOC, DOCX, RTF, TXT, and XLS or XLSX formats. These documents are automatically converted into articles, making them easy to read, organize, and share with Inoreader’s tagging and annotation tools. Uploaded files are private by default, but users can generate public links to share articles via email, social media, or output feeds as needed.

PDF uploads benefit from advanced text parsing technology, which extracts clean content and turns it into fully searchable articles instead of simply embedding the original file. This enables users to annotate, tag, and search the full text of research papers, industry reports, meeting notes, spreadsheets, or plain text documents all inside Inoreader.
