Gumroad fully open sources its platform under MIT license

Gumroad, a digital products e-commerce platform, recently released its platform source code under a restrictive license, limiting use to smaller companies and organizations. Today, almost a month later, Gumroad has updated the licensing terms and has now officially adopted the permissive MIT license, allowing anyone to use, modify, and distribute the software without prior revenue or GMV (Gross Merchandise Volume) restrictions.
