Raycast 1.95 released with enhanced AI features, improved user experience, and much more
Raycast has launched version 1.95, bringing a host of enhancements and bug fixes for its macOS productivity app, with a Windows version on the horizon. Users can now adjust the reasoning level for OpenAI's o3-mini and Claude 3.7 Sonnet (Reasoning) in AI Chat and Presets, although this feature is not yet available in AI Commands. A new setting also allows users to select or disable their favicon provider, balancing privacy and user experience.
This update requires macOS 13 or later and introduces improvements to clipboard history, handling of AI Extension @mentions in root search, and performance with large code blocks. Users will notice improved scroll behavior during completion and enhanced responsiveness during live resize. LaTeX is now supported in user messages, and passwords copied via the Passwords menu bar extension are ignored in the clipboard.
Additionally, the search bar text remains unselected during calculations when the Raycast window is temporarily hidden and reopened, facilitating easier text appending. An action to duplicate notes has also been added, alongside numerous other enhancements and bug fixes.
