Inoreader updates extension enhancing privacy

Inoreader has released an update to its browser extension, removing the need for the 'Read and change all your data on all websites' permission. This change is part of their commitment to user privacy, achieved by improving the extension's functionality without requiring broad access. The update aligns with the principle of least privilege, ensuring only necessary permissions are granted.

I always assumed they needed that in order to access the page's code to find the RSS feed. Do they not need to do that anymore? Are they relying on their own backend feed discovery now? I'm curious because ever since the new extension update it seems to take a noticeably slow process looking up to see if the site has a feed; that used to be instant before (and still is with Google's own RSS extension).
