Together Chat lets you to use DeepSeek & other AI models for free, hosted in North America

Together AI has launched Together Chat, an AI chatbot that leverages the DeepSeek R1 model, hosted in North America, along with other leading open-source models. This tool enables users to perform web searches, code generation, image creation, and image analysis.

Together Chat provides access to several AI models, including DeepSeek R1, Llama 3.3 70B, Qwen 2.5 72B, Qwen Coder 32B, and Flux Schnell. The DeepSeek R1 model is notable for its advanced reasoning capabilities, offering nuanced responses to complex queries that often challenge current-generation large language models (LLMs).

Users can also utilize Together Chat for web crawling, displaying search results directly within the interface. For image generation, it employs Black Forest Lab’s Flux models, allowing users to refine images with follow-up questions for precision. Coding tasks are supported by Qwen Coder 32B, which assists in both new code generation and debugging existing applications.

Additionally, Together Chat includes smaller models like Llama 3.1 8B, which can handle straightforward questions quickly. Available for free online and as a Progressive Web App, Together Chat can be used as a native app on mobile devices.

I'm pleased with this so far because I'm hoping to find a better Perplexity replacement for R1 access. Hoping they expand this chat product!
