Delta Chat now allows forwarding, editing, and deletion of message, synced accross devices

Delta Chat, a decentralized and secure messaging application, has released a new update featuring several enhancements aimed at improving the user experience. Users can now forward messages to the Saved Messages chat, with a ““ link allowing them to jump back to the original message. Saved messages are marked with a bookmark icon for easy identification, and this feature is synchronized across all devices.

The update also introduces a new editing feature, where users can select a message and re-enter it as a draft for text-only edits. Edited messages will be marked with an edited label in the chat. Additionally, message and chat deletions are now synchronized across devices, allowing users to delete messages universally, including their own messages from any point in time. There are currently no restrictions on message deletion or editing, and no history of edits is maintained.
