Raycast 1.93 introduces AI Extensions to streamline tasks with natural language commands
Raycast, a popular productivity app for macOS, has unveiled version 1.93, introducing new AI Extensions in beta. These AI Extensions allow users to streamline tasks such as setting up coding workflows, organizing schedules, and booking meetings directly from Raycast using natural language commands, eliminating the need to open separate apps or browsers. Users can find AI-enabled extensions in the store using a new filter, and explore them by typing @. These extensions are compatible with Raycast AI features, including Quick AI, AI Chat, AI Commands, and AI Chat Presets.
The update also introduces a new Allow mode in Raycast Focus, allowing users to specify which apps and websites to allow while blocking others. This feature extends to Shortcuts and the system Focus filter, though a Mac restart may be required for these updates to take effect. Additionally, the release includes several bug fixes, improving the usability and stability of the app.
