Instapaper 9.1 released with logged-in sites, paywall detection, and improved settings

Instapaper has released version 9.1 for iOS and macOS, introducing several new features and improvements. Users can now sign in to websites directly within the app, enhancing the ability to retrieve and display complete articles, particularly from sites with “hard paywalls”. The app's article parsers can now detect paywalls and offer instructions for accessing full content if the user has a subscription.

The update also includes a revamped settings' interface on iOS and macOS, aligning with the app's theme and improving organization. Three new settings have been added: Save Delay, which adjusts the display time of the Save screen; Auto-Lock, which keeps the screen active in reader mode when disabled; and Line Breaks in Code, which prevents line breaks in code blocks when turned off.

Version 9.1 also features various other enhancements and bug fixes, further refining the user experience on both platforms.
