Asterisk enhances SIP authentication with SHA-256 and SHA-512-256 support

Asterisk has announced new support for SHA-256 and SHA-512-256 SIP authentication digest algorithms in their latest releases, namely Asterisk 22.2.0, 21.7.0, and 20.12.0. This enhancement is significant as it moves away from the outdated MD5 algorithm towards more secure cryptographic standards. However, to use these new algorithms, users need to ensure they have pjproject version 2.15.1 or greater and OpenSSL version 1.1.1 or higher.
