Floorp 12.8.0 adds Chrome extension support and MCP server integration
Floorp 12.8.0 now allows users to install Chrome extensions directly from the Chrome Web Store, although compatibility may vary. The update also introduces support for MCP servers, enabling integration with external AI tools. Additional changes include an external browser open feature, removal of Split View in favor of Firefox's native version, and several bug fixes addressing CSS issues, tab spacing, and update processes.

I tried to install other Chrome extensions on Floorp and none of them were available. I guess this feature is in alpha mode.
I guess Manifest V3 makes extension simpler with the effect of having cross compatible extensions. But maybe I am wrong ? Anyway it's a great idea, I should test it with the extension screenity (chrome only)
Update : I tried installing screenity in Floorp, and the browser said impossible to install because the extension uses the chrome capture api. Hopefully there are not to much chrome only extension that utilizes chrome only functions in their code ;P
