Apple Fitness+ expands to 28 new markets, adds AI dubbed workouts and K-Pop music genre
Apple Fitness+ is set to expand into 28 new markets on December 15, adding countries such as Chile, Hong Kong, India, the Netherlands, Singapore, and Taiwan to its list. Japan will join early next year, making this the service's most extensive rollout since its launch.
With this significant expansion, the platform will introduce hundreds of workouts and meditations dubbed using generated voices in Spanish, German, and Japanese. Each dubbed session uses a synthetic voice created from the actual voice of one of the 28 Fitness+ trainers. Additional dubbed episodes will be added every week, broadening accessibility for non-English speakers.
Alongside these updates, Fitness+ is introducing the K-Pop music genre to its music selections. Following the rollout, users in 49 countries and regions can now access the full suite of 12 workout types, including strength, yoga, high-intensity interval training (HIIT), pilates, dance, cycling, kickboxing, and meditation. Episodes range from five to 45 minutes and are available on iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV.
