Powerful Git client Tower 10 for Windows introduces comprehensive Graphite support
Tower 10 for Windows has been released, introducing full integration with the Graphite workflow, a stack-based system that enables developers to work on several features in parallel by layering changes. Through this update, users gain new capabilities including a “Working Copy” option, support for creating stacked branches, setting parent branches, restacking, syncing, submitting branches, and managing merge queues, all complemented by warning messages when necessary.
Building on this workflow enhancement, Tower 10 also addresses key usability improvements for Windows users. The update resolves issues with the Alt + SPACE shortcut, refining accessibility within the application. In addition, navigation through nested submodules has been improved, streamlining the experience for those working with complex repositories. For compatibility and performance, portable Git has been updated to version 2.51.2, supporting smoother integration for a wider range of projects. These updates position Tower 10 as an advanced option for developers seeking efficient Git workflow management on Windows.
