Ente Photos now lets users embed public albums on external websites, with auto updates
Ente, the open source, end-to-end encrypted photo storage platform, now allows users to embed public photo albums directly on their own websites. Active Ente subscribers can use this feature to showcase photo collections or portfolios anywhere across the web.
To enable embedding, users generate a public link for their chosen album, which provides an embed code ready for use on any external site. The embedded album replicates the standard viewer experience, letting visitors browse thumbnails, view full-size images, and watch videos within the host website. Embedded galleries automatically update to reflect any added or removed photos.
The embedding feature supports password-protected albums, so if an album is secured, visitors will need to enter the correct password before accessing the content.

Hoping the performance and load times of Ente will improve someday. The encryption overhead is so intense. Immich for now!
