Opera brings its AI-powered image understanding feature to its Android browser

Opera has unveiled a new AI feature for its Android browser called Image Understanding. This functionality allows users to upload any image to the Aria browser AI to receive detailed information and context about it. You can either upload images from your gallery or use your camera directly from the chat with Aria.

This feature follows the introduction of Image Understanding in the desktop version of Opera a few months ago, extending its capabilities to Android devices. To utilize the feature, users need to open a chat with Aria in the browser, tap the “+” sign next to the chat input field, and then upload an image or take a picture.

Currently, Opera is rolling out Image Understanding in Opera Beta for Android version 85, with plans to introduce it in the stable version of Opera for Android in the near future.
