The update focuses on effects and transitions, featuring a revamped user interface for effect controls that offers a cleaner look and more efficient space usage. New easing modes such as Cubic In/Out, Exponential In/Out, Circular In/Out, Elastic In/Out, and Bounce In/Out have been added.

The new Effect Groups feature allows users to control and apply changes to all clips within a group or selection, enhancing flexibility in effect editing. The Transform effect has also seen usability and functionality improvements. Additionally, an initial prototype of the curve editor for keyframes has been introduced.

Performance improvements include better sequence playback and timeline preview rendering, improved handling of transcoding issues when importing large amounts of clips, added VAAPI transcode profiles, and fixed GPU transcoding for NVIDIA. Whisper support has been enhanced for both Windows and macOS, alongside improvements in theming issues across all platforms.
