SparkyLinux has released version 7.5, a quarterly update to its Sparky 7 “Orion Belt” stable line, which is based on Debian 12 “Bookworm”. This release utilizes the Linux kernel 6.1.106 LTS, with ARM device users benefiting from the updated kernel version 6.6.47 LTS for improved performance and stability.

Key software updates in Sparky 7.5 include LibreOffice 7.4.7, KDE Plasma 5.27.5, LXQt 1.2.0, MATE 1.26, Xfce 4.18, Openbox 3.6.1, Firefox 115.15.0 ESR, Thunderbird 115.15.0, and VirtualBox 7.1.
