Turkey unblocks Instagram after addressing crime and censorship concerns

Turkey has restored access to Instagram after the platform agreed to address the country's concerns about crime-related content and censorship. The social media site was blocked on August 2, following accusations of censoring posts expressing condolences for Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh. Transport Minister Abdulkadir Uraloglu announced the agreement on X, with access to Instagram being gradually restored.
