Valorant launches open beta on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and S

Riot has launched its popular team-based shooter, Valorant, in open beta on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and S. The console port includes a new Focus shooting mode and adapted Agent abilities to suit console controls. Notably, crossplay is unavailable between PC and console to maintain competitive integrity, but there is shared cross-progression for unlocked content and battle pass progress.
