Paste 4.4 released with enhanced previews, text recognition and seamless document scanning
Paste, a widely-used clipboard manager for iOS and macOS, has launched version 4.4, introducing several new features designed to enhance productivity and streamline workflows. The update includes a rich preview and editing capability for all content types, accessible via the Space shortcut or the Preview item in the context menu.
Users can now create and format text or link items using Cmd + N or through Main Menu New Text Item. The built-in web browser has been enhanced to allow link editing and seamless web page previews directly within Paste. Additionally, the update introduces text recognition for extracting text from images and an image editing tool for rotating images.
A new built-in color picker allows for easy adjustment of copied colors, while items can now be renamed, pinned, and shared directly from the Preview. Furthermore, the document scanning feature enables users to scan documents using their iPhone, integrating them directly into Paste without needing to switch apps.
