Apple releases iOS 18, iPadOS 18, and macOS Sequoia public betas with many new features
A week after releasing the third developer beta of its next major iOS and iPadOS update, Apple has announced the release of the iOS / iPadOS 18 public beta, along with the macOS Sequoia public beta. These updates are slated for a full release later this fall.
iOS 18 introduces Apple Intelligence, various customization options for home screen layouts, and enhancements to the Photos, Mail, Maps, Notes, and Safari apps. It also includes support for RCS messaging, a new Passwords app, a Game Mode, and redesigned privacy and security settings.
iPadOS 18 features Apple Intelligence, improvements to the Notes, Safari, and Photos apps, a new calculator app, Game Mode, extensive customization options, a new Passwords app, SharePlay, and Freeform, among other features and improvements.
macOS Sequoia also incorporates Apple Intelligence, enhanced iPhone-Mac integration, improved window tiling, a new Passwords app, and gaming improvements. The update further enhances the Notes, Maps, Photos, and Safari apps.
