WFDownloader 0.88 released with batch categorization and improved generic image search
WFDownloader, a popular free bulk image downloader application, has launched version 0.88, introducing several new features and improvements. The interface now includes a dropdown arrow next to the Start button, offering additional options. Users can Start or Update all batches simultaneously with a single click, either from the Start button or by right-clicking Batch download jobs.
Batch categorization has been added, allowing users to group related batches into folders, such as a Twitter category. Sub-categories can also be created for further organization. Batches can now be sorted by name in ascending or descending order, and a batch run monitor has been introduced to track progress when running or updating all batches.
The generic image search feature has been completely revamped for enhanced performance. Open directory mode now includes a setting to skip query URLs, and by default, the software now saves the modified time info from URLs after downloads. Internally, cookie importation has been updated, several issues have been fixed, support for new sites has been added, error messages have been improved, and other minor enhancements have been made to the software.
